Before you begin

HRwise account with Admin access You need to be an Administrator or HR Manager in HRwise to connect integrations.

HiBob account with Admin access You'll be asked to authorise HRwise in your HiBob Marketplace during the OAuth flow.
Setup steps

Log in to your HRwise account
Go to www.hrwise.ai and sign in with your admin credentials.

Navigate to HRIS Connections
From the left sidebar, go to Settings → HRIS Connections. You'll see a list of available integrations.

Click Connect on the HiBob card
HRwise will redirect you to the HiBob Marketplace. You'll be asked to sign in to HiBob if you aren't already.

Secure OAuth 2.0 flow HRwise never sees or stores your HiBob password. The connection uses an encrypted token issued by HiBob.

Authorise HRwise in HiBob
HiBob will show a consent screen listing the permissions HRwise is requesting. Review them and click Authorise.

You're redirected back to HRwise
After authorising, HiBob sends you back to HRwise automatically. You'll see the HiBob card showing Connected.

Click Sync Now to import your data
Trigger your first sync to pull employees, departments, and tasks from HiBob into HRwise. This usually takes under a minute.

Frequently asked questions
How often does HRwise sync data from HiBob?
After your first manual sync, HRwise listens to real-time HiBob webhooks — so whenever an employee is created, updated, or terminated in HiBob, HRwise updates automatically within seconds. You can also trigger a manual full sync from the HRIS Connections page at any time.
What data does HRwise read from HiBob?
HRwise reads employee profiles (name, email, position, department, hire date), organisational structure, and tasks assigned to employees. HRwise never reads salary, payroll, or confidential HR documents. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
What happens when an employee is terminated in HiBob?
HRwise receives a real-time webhook from HiBob and automatically marks the employee as inactive, records their termination reason (mapped from HiBob's termination category), and includes them in your turnover and retention analytics. No manual action is required.
Can I disconnect HiBob from HRwise?
Yes. Go to Settings → HRIS Connections, find the HiBob card, and click Disconnect. This clears the stored access tokens from HRwise. To fully remove the app from your HiBob account, you can also uninstall it from the HiBob Marketplace.
I get an "App already installed" error when connecting. What do I do?
This means HRwise was previously installed on your HiBob account. Disconnect HRwise from Settings → HRIS Connections first, then try connecting again. If the issue persists, uninstall the HRwise app from the HiBob Marketplace and reconnect from scratch.
